We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Regulatory and Tender Specialist to join our team in Panama. This role is essential for managing regulatory compliance, fostering industry connections, and overseeing tender submissions and data analysis for pharmaceutical products.
Responsabilidades del Puesto
Key Responsibilities:
1. Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory guidelines and pharmaceutical laws.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities for product registration and renewals.
• Prepare and submit dossiers, ensuring all documentation meets local regulatory requirements.
2. Tender Management:
• Oversee the entire pharmaceutical tender process, including preparation, submission, and follow-up.
• Analyze tender data to identify trends, competitive pricing, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tenders to maximize chances of success.
3. Industry Networking:
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry, including distributors, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities in the Panama pharmaceutical market.
4. Communication and Coordination:
• Act as a liaison between the Panama office and the headquarters for all regulatory and tender-related matters.
• Provide clear and concise communication to cross-functional teams.
• Prepare detailed reports on tender performance and regulatory updates for management review.
5. Market Insights:
• Research and provide insights into the Panama pharmaceutical market, including regulatory changes and tender opportunities.
• Evaluate and recommend strategies for market entry and expansion.
Requisitos del puesto
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on regulatory affairs and tender management.
• Knowledge:
• Comprehensive understanding of Panama’s pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines and tender processes.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical product registration, documentation, and compliance.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective networking and team collaboration.
• Analytical skills for tender data evaluation and decision-making.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with regulatory software tools.
• Language:
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Existing contacts within the Panama pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in working with government tenders and public procurement systems.
• Proven track record of successful tender submissions and regulatory filings.
