Provide accurate and timely translation and interpretation services between English and Spanish, supporting effective communication between local and international teams, and ensuring proper understanding of technical, legal, and administrative documentation, in compliance with applicable labor and immigration regulations.
Responsabilidades del Puesto
Translate documents from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English (reports, contracts, emails, manuals, presentations, etc.).
Provide consecutive interpretation during meetings, training sessions, audits, and technical visits when required.
Review and proofread translations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and appropriate terminology.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all translated information.
Support the preparation of bilingual official communications.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure correct technical and legal terminology usage.
Maintain updated glossaries and terminology databases.
Provide linguistic support to administrative, technical, and legal teams as required.
Ensure that translation services comply with internal policies and applicable labor and immigration regulations.
Requisitos del puesto
Degree or technical studies in Translation, Languages, Linguistics, or related fields.
Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a translator or interpreter (preferred).
Valid certification as a translator or interpreter (preferred or required, depending on position).
Resolution or authorization issued by MITRADEL, when applicable, in accordance with Panamanian labor regulations.
Knowledge of technical, legal, or construction-related terminology (preferred).
Excellent writing and grammar skills in both languages.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
