Program, direct, coordinate and supervise the work of the staff and the sections under their care. • Coordinate, recommend, design, direct and supervise activities related to the implementation of new technologies, in order to streamline the operational processes of the institution. • Coordinate, evaluate, recommend and supervise the procurement of equipment and systems related to information technology. • Supervise and coordinate research, studies and diagnostics to detect process automation needs, the design and development of new applications or systems, or the acquisition of new technologies. • Elaborate budget on the necessary resources for the implementation of the different systems. • Elaborate, design, implement and monitor policies, standards and procedures regarding security, operation, programming and analysis of computer systems. • Establish and maintain Databases that guarantee the security of the information. • Analyze, design, establish and supervise the systems and procedures for the correct execution of the work and the security of the technological platform. • Establish control of the capacity of installed computing resources. • Take control and statistics of the work done. • Take control of user requests for problem solving and system upgrades. • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and programs in the area. • Coordinate with the Department of Planning and Institutional Development, the preparation of work plans, programs and projects to be implemented annually in the Institution, with the purpose of being able to provide in a timely manner all the necessary IT resources for the efficient execution of said plans and Projects. • Design, elaborate, codify and implement in coordination with the corresponding departments, the different forms of works to be used by the Entity. • Submit reports of the work done • Fulfill the individual goals assigned to them and the commitments they entail, according to the nature of the position. • Perform other related and complementary tasks, as assigned by your superior. • Perform all tasks assigned to it by the plenary or one of its members.
